Juniper Press is a budding, independent publishing house created by artist Anicka Austin. It began as an improvisational exercise between two best friends, premiering as a vehicle to platform the fantastical world of Toenail, Sister Sai’s in-process musical animated series.

Juniper Press makes spaces and objects that activate joy and imagination, resist extraction, celebrate slow process, and work towards the liberation of all beings. We do this by creating and publishing books by artists who think radically about the body, performance, spirit, and the archive.
